Family Fall Activities in Utah:

When deciding which family activities we will do, I try to keep budget and cost at the forefront. While some things we do might be more expensive than others, I've also found the best way to pay for things and deals for high-cost activities that help offset things for our family.

GetOutPass for Utah Savings:

GetOutPass has been huge for our family over the last several years. You can get a 1-day ticket to Lagoon (Utah's only amusement park) which basically pays for a majority of the pass up front. From there, you can use the pass to get into a variety of other locations for up to a year including the aquarium, bowling, arcades, axe throwing, ski lift tickets, and so much more!

You can use code: heypaigeflamm for an additional $5 off all sale pricing anytime, or 30% off when they're not running sales.

Visit Lagoon During Frightmares:

Our family loves going to Lagoon once a year. It's the only amusement park in Utah and happens to be 10 minutes from our house. We love going in the fall during Frightmares because it's much cooler, and if you go on a Friday evening the lines are almost nonexistent. It's one of my best-kept secrets, and the family looks forward to it every year. The GetOutPass works during Frightmares as well!

Fall Gondola Rides at Local Resorts:

Almost every Utah ski resort does fall gondola rides and it is the best way to see all of the fall colors. Solitude Resort is part of the GetOutPass benefits, and is something we're looking forward to doing in the next couple weeks!

Last year we did Lagoon and the gondola ride on back-to-back weeks and it paid for our entire GetOutPasses in two weeks. Worth the money in my opinion and leaves so many other activities to enjoy the rest of the year.

The Best Pumpkin Patches in Utah:

There are a ton of excellent pumpkin patches to visit in Utah during the fall months. Our personal favorite is Pack Farms in Farmington, Utah. It's $5 per person to get in, and they have SO MANY good activities for kids of all ages and abilities to participate in and have fun.

If you're not local to Davis County, here are some other pumpkin patches to explore:

Our Favorite Fall Family Hike in Utah:

If you're looking for unbelievable fall views, and the best wheelchair/stroller friendly hike in Utah, be sure to checkout Cascade Springs Trail in Midway, Utah.  It's a wood plank path almost the entire way, and you're completely nestled in the best fall scenery.

When you're done, go grab lunch at Lola's. After lunch, grab some dessert at Midway Bakery. It's the perfect cozy fall day your family will love.

Take a Scenic Drive for Fall Foliage

One of the easiest and cheapest fall activiites you can do is to go on a nice fall drive to see all the colors. Some of the best spots in Utah are Alpine Loop, Nebo Loop, and Mirror Lake Scenic Byway.

Attend a BYU or University of Utah Football Game

Utah is passionate about football and the rivalry between BYU and U of U is unparalleled. Grab some tickets and get out to a game with the family. If you're headed down to Provo for a BYU game, grab an Iconic Cougar Tail (glorified maple bar) at the stadium, they're iconic, and I hear they're also delicious.

Spooky Light Show:

If you're near South Jordan, Utah, checkout the Spooky Light Show that is happening at the same place where they do the drive-thru Christmas in Color each year. Admission is $29 per vehicle, but if you like drive-thru lights this should be a great Halloween themed delight! You can use code trick15 to get 15% off your tickets!
