If you've have a boy between the ages of 8-12 and are needing some holiday inspiration this year, this Christmas gift ideas for tween boy guide will hopefully help you get your shopping done quickly!
Christmas Gift Ideas for Tween Boy 2023
Our son Kyle is 11 and at a very fun age where he can go on Amazon and find all the things he wants for Christmas, which makes getting a list out of him very painless and easy. We by no means get everything on his list, and sometimes we opt to get him some surprises that he didn't ask for, but I love that he can pick some Legos, books, and other things and give us a direct idea of what he really wants.
Adidas Hoodie For Boys:
Christmas hoodies have become a bit of a tradition in our house. Kyle has outgrown or completely destroyed all the hoodies he had last year, so adding this into his clothing rotation was very much needed this year.
Minecraft Book:
Kyle and Kinsley have both loved following tutorials for Minecraft builds over the last year. I don't pretend to understand that game at all, but I assume this book Kyle asked for will help him build more creations.
Lego Jeep 4x4:
We got really into RC cars for birthdays this year and the kids have been driving the Jeeps we got non-stop. When Kyle found out there was a yellow Jeep Lego set, it went on his list immediately. This will for sure keep him busy over Christmas break.
Treasure Hunters Book Set:
Kyle has loved this book series this year and has been wanting to get the entire set. They sell books 1-8 in a set but he owned book 1 and 8 and not the ones in the middle. We bought books 2-5 and figure we'll get the other ones for other holidays and birthdays throughout the year.
A Kids Digital Camera:
We wanted the kids to be able to take their own pictures on our Disney vacation we're taking in January, so we bought them each one of these cameras for Christmas. They were pretty inexpensive, and from the Amazon reviews, it looked like they took decent pictures. I won't be devasted if they break, but I think they'll be fun for the kids this year.
Mario Kart Wii:
Derek bought a Wii off of Facebook Marketplace several months ago with the intention of buying Mario Kart and never actually bought the game. I figured since our kids have very limited video game experience this could be fun to get into together and snagged this off of Amazon for Kyle... but really it's for everyone.
LED Bedroom Lights:
I bought these mostly for Kinsley and her room but figures Kyle might like them in his bedroom as well and got him a set too. They were $10 and I think will add a fun touch to his bedroom.
Invisibility Cloak T-shirt:
Kyle is a sucker for cheesy Harry Potter shirts on Amazon, which is 100% how he ended up with his on his list and now under the three. The part of me that likes everything to be aesthetically pleasing cringes a little bit, but then the fun parent in me finds this very endearing.
Do you have a tween boy between the ages of 8-12? I'd love to know what you're getting them for Christmas this year!
