Peppa Pig World of Play Dallas Review

If you have a child who is a huge fan of Peppa Pig, this Peppa Pig World of Play Dallas review will help you to decide if this attraction is worth your time on your next trip to Dallas, TX.

Peppa Pig World of Play Dallas Review

Our daughter Kinsley has been a huge fan of Peppa Pig ever since she was in preschool. She is now almost nine and was still super excited to check out Peppa Pig World of Play in Dallas when we were there several weeks ago. I'm so glad that we were able to fit it into our trip, because she ended up having a lot of fun. I do want to disclaimer this post that Kinsley did get a random eye infection on our vacation, which is why her eye is swollen shut in these photos. It however did not get in the way of her having a great time, which we're thankful for.

Peppa Pig World of Play Dallas Review:

I am going to break this review down into several parts: cost, accessibility, and attractions. Overall though, we had a really great time. There are a couple things to note in general about going to Peppa Pig World of Play. You do have to make a reservation on their website to get in. Otherwise it's first come first serve. They only let so many people in at a time, so if you don't have a reservation you have to wait until there is an opening. If they're sold out for the day, it means you're not going to get in.

They also have a rule that there must be someone in your party UNDER the age of 8. Kinsley was exactly eight when we went, and they almost didn't let us in, but I think they decided to be nice and break the rule for us. I'm so glad we went when we did because Kinsley has wanted to go for ages and this age cut off likely will prevent us from ever going again.

Everyone who goes does get a wristband that is color coded to your time slot. I'm unsure what the time cut off is, but at some point they announce that everyone with a particular color wristband must leave because your time is up. This is how they keep the space from getting too crowded and to keep the flow of people coming into the space.

Peppa Pig World of Play Cost:

They sell their tickets in a parent + child combo for $35. This means for the four of us it would have been $75 for us to go to this one attraction. We were able to purchase a combo ticket though that included Peppa Pig World, Legoland Dallas, and Sea Life Aquarium for $49.99 each, which meant we spent $200 for us to do all three attractions. This made sense for our family, and it proved to be a great use of money. All three attractions are in the same mall in Grapevine, Texas. This means you can either hit all three in one day, or you can split it up and do one per day like we did.

Peppa Pig World of Play Accessibility:

As you know, Kinsley is a wheelchair user. They advertise that the entire place is handicap accessible, and even have signs on the wall saying as such throughout the facility. However, there were plenty of attractions such as the bus, the mail truck, the huge playground, and a few other things that were absolutely not accessible. Some of it was fine and we were able to take her out of her wheelchair to do them, but there was basically nothing on the playground her wheelchair could access. She took it really well and there were plenty of things she could do there, but they definitely had a lot of false advertising about the accessibility so keep that in mind if it's something you might need.

Peppa Pig World of Play Attractions:

There were so many fun scenes from Peppa Pig episodes depicted throughout the building such as:

  • Muddy Puddles
  • Peppa's House
  • Rebecca Rabbit's House
  • Grandma Pig's Garden
  • The Mail Truck
  • The Taxi
  • A School Bus
We even got lucky when we were there and for to do the Peppa Pig meet and greet and take a picture with Peppa. This was such a highlight of the day, and Kinsley loved that the most. The times for Peppa vary each day, and I'm not sure that everyone who goes gets to meet Peppa, so that might have been something that we just got lucky with!

Peppa Pig World of Play Dallas Review

Overall we had a really great time and are glad that it was something we got to experience because Kinsley has wanted to do it for a long time. I don't think it's something you need to do more than once, but we had a great time while we were there!
