Pumpkin spice steamer is the perfect fall drink to get that pumpkin spice flavor without the caffeine or opting for coffee.

Pumpkin spice steamers have been my favorite fall drink for as long as I can remember. In high school my friends and I would frequent Uncommon Grounds in Saratoga Springs, NY and order Pumpkin Spice Steamers after school while we worked on our homework. They're super nostalgic for me and and always remind me of my senior year of high school. If you're looking for the perfect fall drink without the caffeine and coffee, you will love this pumpkin spice steamer recipe.

What is a Pumpkin Spice Steamer?

A pumpkin spice steamer is a fall drink made with warmed milk and pumpkin flavoring. Some recipes call for real pumpkin while others call for pumpkin flavored syrup. I prefer using the syrup because it's easier and you don't have to deal with a can of leftover pumpkin puree. You can get pumpkin spice steamers at basically any coffee shop, including Starbucks in the fall.

How to Make Pumpkin Spice Steamers:

For this pumpkin spice steamer recipe you're going to warm some milk in the microwave and add a splash of pumpkin syrup. To make it even fancier, dip the rim of your class into some maple syrup, and then into a cinnamon sugar mixture. Top the steamer with some whipped cream and sprinkle the top with a dash of cinnamon. This fall drink will become a family favorite for years to come.

The Best Pumpkin Spice Syrup:

I've been a long time fan of Torani Syrups. They have many different variations of their pumpkin spice syrup. My favorite is the Puremade line because it's made with natural ingredients and doesn't have any artificial flavoring that can be found in their other syrups. It's the next best thing to using real pumpkin puree.
