Remember in grade school when your mom would pack your lunch? Remember the joy you felt when you pulled out the sweet goodness that was withheld by that blue foil wrapper? Well... I don't, but that's just because my mom never bought us rice krispies. However, you better bet your bottom dollar that I was rejoicing whenever I could score one on a trade for my red jello cup! Point being, I was craving these bad boys today and had all the ingredients to make them, so I did just that! The original recipe I got from Kellogg's official website but then made some modifications... they are yummy!
Ingredients:
3 cups rice krispy cereal
2 2/3 cups marshmallow
1 1/2 tablespoons butter
2 squares almond bark (optional for dipping)
Directions:
1. In large saucepan melt butter over low heat. Add marshmallows and stir until completely melted. Remove from heat.
2. In a separate large bowl pour in the cereal, and then pour in the marshmallow mixture, then stir through evenly.
3. Using buttered spatula or wax paper evenly press mixture into 11x7 inch pan coated with cooking spray. Cool. Cut into 2-inch squares.

4. (Optional.) Melt chocolate in microwave doing 30 second intervals and stirring in between. Once chocolate is melted, dip one end in and then place the non dipped side on wax paper to cool and harden.
